The town of Honeoye is a cute and quaint town. Honeoye offers fishing, Sandy Bottom Park, which includes hiking trails, basketball and pickleball courts, and a beach. Besides the proximity of one of the Finger Lakes, the town boasts cute shops and great dining! Spend a day on the lake, at a nearby winery or skiing just a few miles away.

We loved Kino’s house in Honeoye. Check in was easy with a keyless front door and directions were clear. This roomy home was comfortable with a large smart TV, dependable WiFi and a nice king bed (and others we didn’t need). The location was peaceful, walking distance to Lake Honeoye and convenient to the other finger lakes. Parking was easy and our dog enjoyed the large yard. It was a great stay and we are happy to recommend!

This place was very lovely and cozy. It was completely updated with all modern conveniences. The kitchen was perfect for entertaining and cooking and it had just about everything you would need, open to living room with plenty of seating. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and did not lack for anything. Games for the family were a nice touch. We would rent again for another visit. It is conveniently located in town and close walking distance to Honeoye Lake.

Very nice place. Well equipped and well stocked. Lots of personal touches that set it apart from others. Host quick to respond and very helpful. Plenty of off street parking, easily accommodated full size crew cab pickup truck. A+ experience.

We came to NY for a wedding and picked this little gem. First thing we noticed was how clean the house smelt, it had everything that we needed beautiful, quiet place. Very responsive host. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your house and being great host. I would definitely stay again.

Great stay in the Finger Lakes! Kino’s place was clean, modern and had a great kitchen. Our kids enjoyed the waffle bar! It’s located right across the street from Honeoye Lake and there’s a wonderful public park with the beach about five minutes away. We enjoyed the fire pit outside and just generally hanging out as a family. There’s also a little marina on the lake about 10 minutes away where you can rent boats. I would highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay at Kino’s place. He was incredibly quick to respond to my messages—the fastest of any AirBnB host I’ve ever rented from. The house is very nice and thoughtfully decorated. The kitchen had labels to make locating items easier. The shower does require a tricky step up and down, so keep this in mind if you have mobility/balance issues. We were at maximum capacity with 7 of us there, but it never felt crowded. A tv in each bedroom and the living room plus lots of games to play. We were in the area for a wedding, but would definitely return to Kino and Melanie’s place if we come back to the area.

The Modern Forge has everything you need for a comfortable stay in the Finger Lakes and more. The extremely well appointed cottage has lots of character and far more living space than we were expecting. Every creature comfort (right down to the waffle maker with the mix provided) made this the perfect base for our vacation. We would absolutely stay here again.

The Modern Forge was an amazing place to stay when we drove in for my brother’s graduation in Rochester. The place was squeaky clean and so spacious and the entire family felt right at home. The updated kitchen was great for cooking quick meals before checking out a local lakeside park with an amazing view. Definitely a hidden gem worth visiting and would love to stay there again.

My friends & I planned our trip to view the 2024 solar eclipse. The place was well-equipped for a trip of 7 adults & 2 dogs. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and we made great use of it. The house was very clean & well organized. The bedrooms were cozy - extra emphasis on the comfy beds. The fire pit out back was our weekend highlight. Kino & Melanie were responsive and proactive hosts. They left clear and easy to follow instructions, and were thorough in ensuring we enjoyed our stay. This was a top-rated experience in my many years as an AirBnB guest. Would highly recommend!
